Donald F. Almeida, D.D.S.

Dr. Donald F. Almeida, who is listed in the “Guide to America’s Top Dentists,” graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1972. In 1977, he earned a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Minnesota. Since he has been in dental practice, he has undergone continuing education to keep abreast of the latest developments in dentistry so that he can provide his patients with the most technologically advanced care. He graduated from the New York Institute of Advanced Studies in Dental Aesthetics in 1994. Three years later, he attended and completed the Advanced Functional Aesthetics course, from the nationally recognized Las Vegas Institute. In 1999, he also completed the Las Vegas Institute's Comprehensive Aesthetic Reconstruction course. As a cosmetic dentist, Dr. Almeida feels that his mission in life is to improve people’s dental health and to give them beautiful smiles. To help him accomplish this goal, in 2001, he completed from the Las Vegas Institute, the Practical Occlusion in a Progressive Practice course, and a year later, in Full Mouth Reconstruction. Dr. Don Almeida's experience and training puts him in the elite levels of dentist performing cosmetic dentistry

Dr. Almeida’s superior dental skills have been recognized with numerous awards. He is listed in the “The National Registry of Who’s Who.” In addition, he has passed tests administered by the Council of the National Board of Dental Examiners and the Central Regional Dental Testing Service and holds a license from the State Board of Dental Examiners. He is a past board director of the Western Area Health Education Council and a past member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Almeida is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Metropolitan Denver Dental Society and is an associate member of the American Academy of Gnathological Orthopedics. He has been profiled on Mark Kobrick’s dental special on Denver cosmetic dentistry on Channel 9 and was chosen by the Volunteers of America Board of Directors to be profiled in Exclusively Denver Magazine.

Adam Almeida, D.D.S.

A 1994 graduate of Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree, Dr. Adam Almeida earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the University of Iowa in 1999. He is a cosmetic dentist and he continues to invest in ongoing specialized cosmetic dentistry training so that he can provide you with the most technologically advanced care. He is highly qualified to provide you with the best in dental care. He has passed tests administered by the Council of the National Board of Dental Examiners and the Central Regional Dental Testing Service and holds a license from the State Board of Dental Examiners. He is a past member of the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society and is currently a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Adam also completed the renowned LVI Advanced Functional Aesthetic and Practical Occlusion program. He is ranked among the leaders in cosmetic dentistry in America and is listed in the "Guide to America's Top Dentists."

Paul W. Bell, D.D.S.

Dr. Paul Bell graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. He attended the University of California at San Francisco where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree, graduating in the top of his class. He was chosen as the “best all around dental student” by his peers. He was also elected to the National Dental Honor Society, an honor given only to the top dental graduates in the country.

Cosmetic Dentistry has a special focus in his practice. He has completed the renowned LVI Advanced Functional Dentistry Program and is listed in the "Guide to America’s Top Dentists”, published by the Consumers’ Research Council of America. Besides being a cosmetic dentist, Dr. Bell continues to invest time in studying the latest techniques in dentistry including dental implants and sedation, neuromuscular, general and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Bell has studied under some of the world’s leading researchers in cavity prevention and has published his own research in leading dental journals. He loves helping patients learn how to be cavity free, especially those who have a long history of getting cavities. He focuses on preventive dentistry and has helped patients who have had chemotherapy, cancer surgery, radiation, bulimia, diabetes, and other diseases that cause problems in the mouth. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, the Metro Denver Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He also has passed tests administered by the Council of the National Board of Dental Examiners and the Central Regional Dental Testing Service and holds a license from the State Board of Dental Examiners.

With a wife and three beautiful children, he manages to stay very busy while away from the office. He enjoys golf, mountain biking, fishing and camping with his two boys. An eagle scout, he is committed to treating his patients ethically and with compassion.

Media Selections

We offer several different media choices for patients during their appointments in our Highlands Ranch area office. Patients are able to choose from our varied selections or bring their favorites from home. We'll provide our patients with personal headphones. These selections include:

• CD Players - We offer several personal CD players with headphones and a large choice of CDs. Patients are able to choose from rock, country, classical, pop, and jazz tunes.
• Cable TV - There are monitors in every treatment room that allow patients to catch up on the news, their favorite sporting events, or the soaps.
• DVD Movies - Each room is also set up to play movies for longer appointments. Patients are able to choose from action, romance, drama, and children's movies. Or, patients may bring their favorite movies from home.

Warmth and Comfort

We want our patients to be warm and comfortable during their visits. These are the extras we provide:

• Hot Towels - Patients are offered refreshing, lemon-scented hot towels following treatments to freshen up.
• Soft, Cozy Blankets - If patients get chilly sitting in the dental chair, we give them our extra soft, cozy blankets to snuggle under.
• Massage Pads - We have one special treatment room chair with a high quality massage pad for enhanced relaxation for patients making an appointment for that room.

In the News

Dr. Donald Almeida and Dr. Adam Almeida have a regular eight-minute segment about cosmetic dentistry on “Colorado & Co.,” a program that airs from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. every other Friday on Denver NBC affiliate KUSA Channel 9. In one of their segments, the Almeidas offered a “smile makeover” for a lucky contest winner to give as a Mother’s Day gift.
